Dr. Brady earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), and was honored by Alpha Omega Alpha, the Honor Medical Society (honoring only the top 10% of each medical graduating class). Following his Residency in Internal Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University, he served as Chief Resident. His Fellowship in Medical Oncology took place at the University of Minnesota Hospitals. Dr. Brady is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Oncology.
Following 12 years of private practice in Portland, Oregon, he was sought after to build multi-disciplinary cancer programs for hospital systems in Denver, CO, Fort Worth, TX, and Pontiac, MI.. Immediately preceding his relocation to the Northwest, Dr. Brady was Medical Director of Oncology Services at St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland, and Principal Investigator of the Oncology Research Program of Oakland County, Michigan. He also spear-headed and was Director of an award-winning (AHA Circle of Life Award), innovative Palliative Care Program which served two hospitals.
Dr. Brady’s desire to return to the Northwest came to fruition with the graduation of his youngest daughter (he has four!) from high school in 2005. With children and grandchildren in the Seattle area, he and his wife, Jean, enjoy being active parents/grandparents. The Bradys love outdoor activities and are avid snow and water skiers. They’re thrilled to be back where mountains are mountains. Also fans of the Oregon Coast, Ashland’s Oregon Shakespeare Theatre, and the Puget Sound, their return to the Northwest has been a wonderful transition back to “home”.
